A few tips on how to take great food photos:
1. Good lighting. Place your food in an area with bright, well-dispersed light. Natural lighting is best. And try to avoid using a flash.
2. Get close. It’s in the details. We want to see the cracks in the bread, the grain of the meat. Try a Macro setting if you have one.
3. In focus. Make sure all those details are clear and sharp. And try to make the background out of focus, drawing more attention to your food.
4. Presentation. Dress it up. A neat plate is more appealing than a pile of food.
